Re-marriage to my husband of 26 years who lost his way to alcoholism. I am Catholic and we do not recognize divorced. He signed a commitment to re-marry me, but I never thought he would. One month after my last visit with him/son I got an emergency call from him. In a month, he was visibly very sick. I got him as far as Bay Medical Center. I stayed with him for over a month, walking back and forth from a nearby shelter. We remarried on February 14th. I simply couldn't accept that he was going to die. He parted this life on 3/3 and this piece of paper is a testimony of his enduring love for me.
